My top 5 LSS songs for Winter 2016

I've always loved music. When I was a kid I used to sing and one time I even forced mom to buy me a radio just so I could record the music that are being played. Haha! Years later when apple introduced iPods, I'd spend most of my time figuring out how to download music and transfer it into the iPod that was given to me by my Tito (That I forgot the name! Sorry. Haha!) When I finally did, I'd constantly update my iPod with what's new on the radio.

Lately, I've been I've been losing sleep.. No, not that. Haha! Lately, I've had quite a few favourites from what is being played on the radio and I'd like to share 5 of them with you. I know most of you guys would know these songs since they're being played like twice in a day on the radio and you might have heard most of these being hummed, sang and played in the supermarket, bus stop or wherever. So here goes my top 5 LSS songs!!

Don't Let me Down by Chainsmokers

I find the chorus of this song really catchy. Did you realise how much they repeated "I need you" and "Don't let me down" in this song? Who wouldn't get LSS to that? Haha! I bet that those two phrases occupy most of the lyrics which is not too baaaad though cuz the beat matches the lyrics and don't you just wanna turn up the volume and dance to this song? I mean common. Kidding! Haha! :P

This is what you came for by Calvin Harris
Yoooouuu-oh Yooou-ooh oooh. Haha! Lyrics wise, pure nonsense. The beat on the other hand makes you wanna jump on your toes and point to somebody you know and belt out "Youuuuuu-oh youuuuu-oh oh" Haha!

Ghost by Ella Henderson

I wish I can sort of rap like Ella (First name basis! Haha! Close? Haha!). It fascinates me to hear a lady rap and sing the lyrics really quick. The only rap I learned was from a song called 'Stupid Love' from the Philippines. Haha! :P I like how she was able to incorporate the word 'prayer' to the lyrics of the song but the "devil" part is kinda creepy. Makes me think twice about listening to this song. Haha! Oh and one more thing! Don't you just love the title? So unique. Haha! :P

Wild things by Alessia Cara

Find me where the wild things are? Haha! I'm not really into wild things. I'm more on the average to moderate level only. Haha! This song just shows how rebellious one can be. Some would call it rebellious others would call it having fun but I'd call it living Life. But of course with a few limits that you'd impose on yourself and actually follow :)

Time of our lives-Pitbull and Ne-yo

It's Ne-yo. Enough said. Haha! and Pitbull sure can rap! (Jealous :( ) I've been staying for a few nights in the city these past 2 weekends and I reckon (Words that you learn from Kiwi co-workers. Haha!) that this song best describes my past two weekends with my friends! Staying in the suburbs has its downside though. Makes you feel "EMO" at times. Haha!

Unfailing by Life Worship

After all the upbeat music, sometimes it's just nice to play something calm and comforting. I downloaded some of Life worship's song on iTunes and this is by far my favourite. I love how it reminds me of God's goodness and unfailing love before I go to bed at night. Without the inventor, no one could've invented music right? One pastor once said, every music that's created is beautiful. Sometimes the "devil" just comes in the picture and turns it into something that's not pleasing to God. So let's just be careful on what we listen to because most of the time what we see and hear determines what's in our hearts. :)

So there you go. My top 5 playlist for that's getting me through the first part of winter! Any suggestions as to what song I should add to my playlist? :) Feel free to comment below!

Bye loves!
